Mads Floor Andersen has, over a decade, developed a performance language *of recycling, risk, breakage, destruction, ruins and being ‘response-able’* to his surroundings. He particularly explores the intimate relationship between body and environment and how they shape and affect each other. He primarily engages with the local and personal processes he works and lives within. Thus each work is experimental and open-ended – creating an unfolding dialogue between his body and his surroundings. Hence each work has its own specific constellation, while simultaneously touching upon social and ecological thoughts, theories and practices . He has presented his work internationally. In parallel to his solo work he also founded Nomadic Arts Festival and worked as an executive producer on Transart Communication 30. He is simultaneously an active core member of the artist-led collective Tracing the Pathway.

Mads Floor Andersen v priebehu desaťročia rozvinul performatívny jazyk recyklácie, rizika, poškodenia, zničenia, deštrukcie a schopnosti „reagovať“  na svoje okolie. Osobitne skúma intímny vzťah medzi telom a prostredím a ich formovanie a vzájomné pôsobenie. V súčasnosti je, pod vedením umelcov, aktívnym členom kolektívu Tracing the Pathway.
